The People
Kinna Öhman: Executive Producer, Web Person, Writer, Sound Mixer, Photographer
Kinna grew up just north of the Adirondack Park and also on the Upper Saranac Lake. She moved out to Montana and Colorado after graduation from college – living and working in the Rocky Mountains (always within a short distance from wilderness areas and national parks) for twelve years. She returned to the Adirondacks in 2004.
Kinna began Adirondack Park Nature Magazine in March of 2009 – customizing the site with audio, slideshow, and video capabilities. She sees the multimedia project as an outlet for Adirondack naturalists and scientists who’d like to share their experiences with the interested public – in a unique, enjoyable way. She recently founded Speckled Dog Media and now lives on a small farm in central Vermont.
